A MOL Biohyd 46S szintetikus észter alapú biológiailag lebomló hidraulikaolaj. Környezetbe kerülve meghatározott időn belül a környezetet nem károsító komponensekre bomlik. A legtöbb tömítőanyaggal (NBR - nitril-butadién gumi; poliuretán gyanták; poliakrilátok; fluorozott polisziloxán és Viton típusú anyagok) összefér. Nem összeférhető a természetes gumival és az EPDM-mel (etilén-propilén dién monomer). Használatával a növényolaj alapú hidraulikus munkafolyadékokhoz képest növelt élettartam érhető el. Nem biológiailag lebomló olajjal való keveredés esetén számolnunk kell a biológiai lebonthatóság csökkenésével, esetleg megszűnésével.
